SNEAK PEEK-TRENDING INTERIORS

These are some of the latest trends I am seeing in the interiors I photograph in San Francisco, Carmel and Napa. Concrete French tiles. Gray & white, white & white, white & dark gray. Little bits of blue. Wonderful chandeliers. Lean uncluttered look. Mid-century and sinuous lines. Organics. Here’s a sneak peak of California’s trending interiors of the spring:

As an interior photographer I work with my designers to help frame a home in a portfolio of photos. I act first as a creative director leaning the needs and the intent of the shoot. Next I see the space like an art director defining the storyline and the flow of photos one to the next. I then jump in and help style the room to fill the frame for each photo. After taking the photos and back in the studio I apply state of the art Photoshop to make the photos publish-perfect as you see here.
