Joyce Hewins created this traditional interior full floor flat in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights district and brought me in to photograph. My interior photography captures a spareness in the space that is fresh and inviting, with an aesthetic that seeks to draw the viewer in; keeping the details crisp yet still conveying a livable space. The design detailing in the kitchen and bathroom show simple big moves rendered with perfect proportions, materials and execution. The mix of antiques and clean modern pieces worked as well in person as it does here.

The details: Photographed over two partial days the home became the cover story in California Homes magazine. The photography also became used in the unit real estate promotion which sold for top price compared to the building comps.
