Mario Aiello, a principal with the Dahlin Group, created this contemporary mountain home in Ketchum Idaho. As a architectural photographer I responded to the simple vernacular forms and angles to make a group of photo that show the lofty spaces. The project was award a “Golden Nugget” as a winning entry at the Pacific Coast Builders Conference in San Francisco. A restrained palette of materials and the hidden details inside give the home a fresh urban feeling while keeping rustic neighborly exterior. It was a great home to shoot.
