My portrait photography creates a connection and conveys meaning through expression and place. I am often called upon to create portraits in-situ for magazines and firms. I  start by taking time the to get to know the subject, putting them at ease and learning the elements of their “story” that I  bring to the portrait. As an art director I find the perfect setting, as a stylist I help with wardrobe selection, as a photographer I get the light and the expression. My portrait photographs have a natural feeling, are positive and affirming and the subject is genuinely approachable.
